The ACEA Conference 2019, Melbourne Victoria Australia. The conference will take place between 13th and 16th October 2019. The ACEA Conference is the premier Australasian professional development event for educators, trainers, transitional service providers, prison workers and agencies providing education and training services to adult and juvenile offenders in custody. The conference offers professional development with motivating local and international presenters, master classes for practitioners, workshops discussing topical issues, insights into innovative use of technology in custodial settings and networking opportunities. The conference workshops have five key streams: Youth Justice, Research, Technology/ICT, Adult Education/Indigenous Education and Vocational/Industry Training.

17th EPEA International Training Conference, Dublin, Ireland. From 12th – 16th June 2019 the European Prison Education Association, together with its Irish branch, the Irish Prison Education Association, will host the 17th International Conference focusing on the past, present and future of prison education. The training conference will involve a multitude of different seminars, sessions on topics such as citizenship education in prisons and prison visits.

The event was organised by IPS_Innovative Prison, in Lisbon, on July 3rd and 4th, 2019. Representing partners from Spain, Portugal and Romania met to discuss Coding OUT project. |
